How to Add a Carousel

Group Multiple Links into a Scrollable Carousel Block

A carousel lets you group multiple links or pieces of content into a single scrollable block on your page. You can create a carousel from scratch or turn any existing link into one.

Option 1: Create a Carousel from Add Content

Steps:

1. Log in to your hoo.be account at hoo.be/login

2. Go to My Pages and click the page you want to edit

3. Click + Add Content

4. Select Carousel from the blocks list

5. Paste link URLs one at a time into the URL bar and click Add for each one

6. Click + Create Carousel when you're done adding links

7. Click Done to save

Option 2: Turn an Existing Link into a Carousel

Steps:

1. Click on any existing link block on your page to open Edit Link Block

2. Click Create Carousel in the top right of the panel

3. Paste additional link URLs and click Add for each one

4. Click + Create Carousel to confirm

5. Click Done to save

How to Edit and Reorder a Carousel

Steps:

1. Click on a carousel block to open Edit Link Block

2. Click the reorder icon (list icon) in the top bar to open Edit and Reorder Carousel

3. Drag links using the handle (⠿) to reorder them, or click the trash icon to remove one

4. Use the + icon in the top bar to add more links to the carousel

How to Change Carousel Layout

Steps:

1. Click on the carousel block and select Layout

2. Under Display Mode, choose:

   • Embed — for supported platforms (YouTube, Spotify, etc.). Sizing is automatic

   • Link Card — standard card layout with 4 carousel layout options (Card, Text Bottom, Split Layout, Text Only)

Important Considerations

• Switching to Embed display mode disables the 4 carousel layout options — switch back to Link Card to use them

• A carousel can contain any mix of link types
